Probiotics we hear so much about them in our day to day living, but how much do we really know about it. What are they? What does it do for our bodies? Well, come to find out they do a lot actually. In the following paragraphs, I will fill you in on the 101 about probiotics. Things you may or may not know about them. Looking it up myself and I have found myself shocked with the thing that these little probiotics actually do. They are natures little fighters in a big way. Enough gloating about them and let me you tell you about these little wonders.

First, when did this all start? These awesome little microorganisms were found by doctors of course. It was in the mid-1990’s that doctors had found that were multiple health benefits from prescribing their patients to increase there probiotics to ensure better health. They had found that there are two probiotics that are health benefits and they can be found in all kinds of foods. Not just in a pill form. They are found in foods you probably eat on an everyday basis or even at least on occasion. These two awesome probiotics are called Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus.

Bifidobacterium is a probiotic that is found in most yogurts, dark chocolate, and even pickles. Doctors have done studies to show that this type of probiotic can help people who suffer from most bowl syndromes and diseases.

Lactobacillus, Is a probiotic that is found in most yogurts and pickles too as well as kombucha, and sauerkraut. Doctors have found that this type of probiotic can help people who suffer from diarrhea. It is also been shown that it can help people who have trouble digesting lactose, which is the sugar that is found in most kinds of milk.

These two amazing probiotics that you can find in most foods and that you may already consume daily. Who would think that these yummy foods can contain such health benefits and actually help treat many health problems that us people deal with on a daily basis. Studies have shown that they can also help skin problems such as eczema. It can even improve your overall oral health. It can help break down and digest food to better move through your gut. For women, it helps support a healthy vaginal and urinary. It can also help prevent colds. Also for those who suffer from allergies, it can help with that as well.

The reason that probiotics are so awesome and have such good health benefits is the fact that they have a good balance of good and bad bacteria. Those good and bad bacteria help balance our bacteria that is already existing in our bodies. So of course when your body has that good balance it can function the way it should. When our body is running well we can fight and heal.

When we take antibiotics for an infection it treats the infection but it also drains our bodies natural bacteria. Which is why in most cases when we take antibiotics we have that terrible side effects of either diarrhea or for women a yeast infection. All in all, probiotics help our working bodies in so many ways. It can improve your digestion and gut health. It can help who suffer from bowel syndromes and diseases. It helps those who suffer from skin problems. It helps us fight against allergies and colds. It improves our overall oral health. It does so much for our bodies. These little microorganisms are our natures body fighters for overall better quality of life.
